Day in Review: April 20, 2015

The bad offseason continues for the San Francisco 49ers:

1. San Fran’s Hall of Fame OT Bob St. Clair died today at the age of 84. He spent all 11 seasons of his Hall of Fame career with the 49ers. RIP

2. San Diego Chargers S Eric Weddle is skipping the team’s voluntary workouts, claiming that he feels “highly disrespected”. This is only another hit to the Chargers now that they have ostracized QB Philip Rivers, who is a team captain along with Weddle.

3. The Dallas Cowboys are missing both WR Dez Bryant and CB Orlando Scandrick for voluntary workouts. Bryant wants a new contract (and will get a hefty one whether it is with the ‘Boys or another team), and Scandrick most likely wants a new contract too although he has no bargaining room because he isn’t that good.

That’s all for TheHaysWay today, have a pleasant tomorrow.
