“Where words fail, music speaks.” -Hans Christian Andersen, Author

I couldn’t agree more. Music is like a universal language. An American musician and an Asian musician could both pick up the same Beethoven piece and play it almost the same. Words fail often. In fact, words can be very destructive. Music builds you up. Music inspires. We would all be  better off creating more music than words. Now for the unrelated NFL news:

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars rookie, first-round CB Jalen Ramsey suffered a meniscus tear in his knee. Last season, the Jaguars lost their first-round DE Dante Fowler Jr to an ACL tear. Despite modified workloads this season, the team will be without their first-rounder for a short period of time. Although most are hoping Ramsey only misses some offseason activity, there is a chance he could also miss the start of the season.
  2. K Connor Barth is signing with the New Orleans Saints. Barth has spent the last 8 seasons bouncing around the league, spending time with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos, and, most recently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
  3. The University of Alabama offered a football scholarship to an eighth grader. That’s right, Jesus Machado has already received an offer from Nick Saban in EIGHTH GRADE! I guess he is appropriately named because he must be a football god to have already received a scholarship offer from the top college football program in the country.

That’s all for TheHaysWay today, make sure to leave a comment on the quote and/or the news, and a like is appreciated, as always. Have a pleasant tomorrow.
